You may end up having to purchase another model, I did. I suppose it's alright for a low cost effort to listen to music, yet it's still very jittery and the music itself becomes hard to listen to because of that. Much depends on the purchasers' interests and love of music.
Bought this item to listen to my CD's rather than what was being played on the vehicle's radio. While the volume may leave somethingto be desired for the price who can complain.
In addition, if I turned my head a certain way, the sound disappeared. This device did not work at all; I was very disappointed. I had to keep changing batteries; I could not even finish one audio book. I would discourage anyone from purchasing this devise.I went out and purchased a personal CD player from another company. jk. First of all, one touch, or even the remote thought of a touch, will interrupt your disc for a second or two, at least. Over the years I have become something of a portable CD-player connoisseur. I thought, wow, for twelve dollars and the price of shipping I could have a new, black portable player. They're so big and inconvenient.Anyway, without becoming too upset I would warn you not to buy a CD player from Coby. I have, however, bought units from Sony, Panasonic, Philips, and now Coby. But I was also extraordinarily disappointed.
That should be nuff said. Indeed, I have many leather-bound portable CD-players in my portable CD-player library. Second of all - one touch, or even the remote thought of a touch will interrupt your music. The others worked fine, channeled my music through my Sony MDR-XD100 headphones at a high quality.But recently I broke two of my players, so it was time to look for a newer, less expensive machine.The price of the Coby player is what attracted me to it. And I was right. Other defects, or shortcomings, include the ancient format of the Play/Stop/Forward/Rewind buttons. Or anything else from a company that sells rubbish products like this.
